Today, together with BMW, we are celebrating the launch of the new BMW i5. This electric car has a lot to offer, great performance figures, plenty of interior space and an impressive range. But there’s one thing many of us are missing – a front trunk or “frunk.”
Since BMW does not ship the i5 with a frunk, I decided to start a project to develop my own frunk for the BMW i5. I firmly believe that this will be a great addition to this amazing electric car.
Today I had the opportunity to take a quick look at the i5 eDrive 40 and can say that there is enough space to create a functional frunk. I have not yet been able to examine the M60, but I suspect that everything will be installed similarly to the BMW i4 M50.
