It’s really amazing how such small part can improve the whole design of the front trunk – now it’s finally as it should be from the beginning. Installation is very simple. My humble advice – I would suggest to add wet cleaning wipe – not all of the potential customers are equipped with such item. In my case I had small wipe with Isopropanol at home so it was not a problem.

Purchased the frunk lid after seeing reviews online.
At this stage I had only just factory ordered my i3 so had to wait till January to fit it.
Followed the included instructions, double check my measurements for the three Velcro pads and it works brilliantly.
My only ask would be to include some sticky pads to close off the holes in the bottom of the frunk to really waterproof this storage area.

Die Frunkdichtung hab ich mir bereits letzes Jahr als ich mir meinen I3s gegönnt hatte bestellt und eingebaut.
Einfach super mehr Platz nach oben und dicht. Wahrscheinlich verbessert sich auch noch der CW Wert unterm Deckel 🙂

Was habe ich nicht alles schon ausprobiert… Eigenbau (war nicht zielführend), die “Abdeckplane” mit Gummizug (fummelig und undicht)…
Dann habe ich den Wokeby Frunk-Deckel entdeckt – Bingo!
Genial konstruiert, hochwertig verarbeitet, passgenau und super einfach zu montieren. Die Anleitung (auch als Video verfügbar) ist sehr ausführlich und bringt einem Schritt für Schritt ans Ziel (Erfolg ist da eigentlich schon garantiert).
Kurz nach der Montage hat es angefangen zu regnen und das konnte ich mir nicht entgehen lassen 😉
Was soll ich sagen… kein Tropfen Wasser mehr im Frunk 🙂
Ich bin total begeistert! Das Ding kann ich jedem i3 Fahrer absolut empfehlen.
