The Limited Edition of the BMW i3 charge port flap will optimize your charging experience.
The flaps are realized in a light blue which is typical for BMW i and will be an absolute eye catcher.
The two flaps can be opened and closed easily and conveniently.
No more fiddly plugs that hang down at the side of your car.
If you want to quick charge, you open both flaps by pulling the lower flap. For simultaneous closing, you simply close the upper flap.
The BMW i3 charging flap fits all BMW i3 and BMW i3s with the European CCS Type 2 Combo charging port.
We are proud to say that this product is 100% Made in Germany. This means that we not only guarantee high quality but also have the smallest possible CO2 footprint due to short distances.
The BMW i3 charging port is completely made of polypropylene. This material is extremely durable over a wide temperature range and guarantees a high-quality look and feel.
The seals made of EPDM cellular rubber keep water out.
What is new and has been improved:
- The lower flap has now its own snap fit and will remain closed for sure
- The metal pins are now made of higher grade stainless stelle wich has proven to be resistent against salt water
- Now including 4 screw head covers for the TORX screws
We did also some testing with our sealings and can ensure you that they will not absorb water.
We weight two flaps and put one of them under water for 3 days. The second one we sprayed with water. We used about 3 bars of pressure and kept only a distance of a few centimeters. After that we removed all water from the surfaces of the flap and wiped away all big drops. The scale showed that both flaps were 0.2 grams heavier than before. This is most likley remaining water in some of the gaps.

Die Abdeckung passt perfekt und ist schnell eingebaut.
Die Einbauanleitung ist ausführlich und gut verständlich. Das Originalteil wird beim Ausbau nicht beschädigt und kann wieder verwendet werden.
Endlich bin ich die störenden Gummistöpsel los! Danke an Wolfgang für die Mühen bei der Umsetzung der Ladeklappe!

Oh, was gingen mir diese “Stöpsel” auf den Zeiger, die beim Laden ewig herumbaumelten und, wenn es regnete, sich mit Wasser gefüllt haben…
Als ich diese Wokeby Ladeklappe gesehen habe, war ich sofort Feuer und Flamme – die musste ich haben…
Die Lieferung kam blitzschnell.
Die Einbauanleitung ist detailliert und steht auch als Video zur Verfügung. Vielleicht habe ich mich etwas dusselig angestellt, aber die rechte Klammer am original Teil ist bei der Demontage abgebrochen. Egal, die brauche ich ohnehin nicht mehr…
Der Einbau ging in wenigen Minuten über die Bühne. Das Bauteil ist absolut passgenau und sehr wertig verarbeitet. Außerdem sieht es viel schicker aus, als das Original.
Sehr gut finde ich, dass für die Schrauben und die Aufhängung der alten “Strippe” an der “Tankklappe” passgenaue Abdeck-Kappen dabei sind.
Das wirkt am Ende, als wäre das serienmäßig. Klasse!
Aus meiner Sicht eine ganz klare Empfehlung für alle i3 Besitzer.
